€16.00

For lovers of VERY!!! fine honey, "Domaine de Leos" presents its exquisite lavender honey, produced in limited quantities. Available exclusively on the "Domaine de Leos" website and select delicatessens, this honey is a true gourmet delight.

Character
Sought after by top chefs and connoisseurs, Leos' fine lavender honey is renowned for its intense fragrance, great finesse, and subtle, floral taste.

Terroir and Harvesting
Made from real lavender flowers, or "true lavender" (not the impostor Lavandin!) grown at high altitudes (above 600 meters) in Provence, this honey is rare and highly prized. The Provençal mountains' unique terroir gives it an international reputation, making it a favoured choice for natural and refined product enthusiasts.

Technical Information
Texture: Obtained by stirring, the honey remains creamy and smooth, preventing crystallisation and ensuring easy spreading.
Colour: Clear and golden yellow when harvested, turning whiter through stirring and crystallisation.
Taste: Noted for its finesse, the honey has a long palate with a floral profile, a slight acidity, and a hint of almond on the finish.
Fragrance: Subtle, delicate, and fruity aromas with a more intense and complex scent than traditional lavender honey.

Storage Lavender honey can be stored for up to two years. To maintain its properties, keep it away from UV rays, humidity, and heat.

Health Benefits Fine lavender honey from Provence is appreciated for its calming and relaxing properties, making it an ideal choice to help relieve stress and promote sleep.

Our recommendation:
The intensity of its fragrance and its subtle, floral and slightly tangy taste make it an ideal choice to be enjoyed with a spoon or to accompany desserts (pastry, fruit salads, ice creams, yogurts, etc.), herbal teas or teas. Many great chefs have created recipes using fine lavender. Make sure the spoon is "extra-fin" just like this MIEL. #letsgetaddicted

About the artisans:
My first encounter with Domaine de Leos was through their olive oil—and let me tell you, my pupils went wide and angels sang “Ecstasy of Gold”. I thought I knew olive oil, but this was a revelation. Then I tried their honey and confitures, and I was completely blown away. These have become my absolute favourites.

Domaine de Leos is the result of years of dedication to quality and sustainability, turning a historic estate into a producer of exceptional olive oil, honey, and more—praised by top French chefs. Want to learn more about their story and other artisans? Head to our Artisans page!
