Meet the Artisan Syrup Extraordinaires “Bacanha”, founded in 2013. They are the cool kid in the syrup world, creating top-notch organic syrups that are both delicious and crafted from sane ingredients - the finest they can find: organic cane sugar, fruit concentrates, natural flavours. This is why I selected these artisans - their syrops do not contain artificial colorants (the Es in ingredient list) which are common for this sector. Bacanha syrops are transparent or slightly hued by its ingredients.
The name blends "beau et bon" in Brazilian Portuguese, where their cane sugar comes from, with a nod to the "Bacchanale" festivals of ancient Greece and Rome, celebrating life and flavours.
